"How can I make 211 work from my office phone"
How can I make 211 work from my office phone? In order for 211 to work from your office phone, your office phone system (PBX, Centrex, Centron, etc.) must be able to recognize the digits as a complete dialing code. Similar to programming speed dial on your own phone, your telephone network administrator can program your office phone system to recognize the digits 2-1-1 as our full seven-digit number, 978-3333, or our toll free number (outside the Salt Lake area) 888-826-9790. In some systems, it may still be necessary to dial a single digit network access code before dialing 211, (i.e., dial “9” to make a call outside of the office.) Ask your telephone network administrator for details. For further information you may contact Josh Pedersen at (801) 887-1237. Need a hero? Want to be one yourself?
