History: Our Lady of Soledad Church is a non-Indian parish that once served
  as an Indian mission between Banning, California and Arizona. Furthermore,
  diocesan priests and the Congregation of the Holy Cross (Holy Cross of
  Indiana Province, South Bend, Indiana) from Our Lady of Soledad have
  attended the following Indian missions:

1927-present                Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Chapel (Cahuilla),
                              Thermal, Torres-Martinez Reservation
1932-present                Augustine Reservation station (Cahuilla)
1932-present                Our Lady of Guadalupe Mission (Cahuilla), Palm
                              Springs
