What is this all about?

StarOffice was a free program available to all.
To make a really long story really short, StarOffice is now OpenOffice.org We are using OpenOffice.org to save $ OpenOffice.org works in the same basic way as PowerPoint.

How is this different from PowerPoint?

This functions the same way.
The names of some of the functions are different.
If you can do it with PowerPoint, you can do it with OpenOffice.org with very few exceptions.

How to Make a New Presentation
●
Go to “File” choose “New” then choose “Presentation” Enter the name of your presentation and choose your layout.

How to Type on a New Presentation

Go to “Format” choose “Modify Layout”
Pick the layout that works best for you.
Click “OK”
How to add graphics and animation.

Go to “Insert” choose “Graphics”
Pick your picture.
Click “OK”
How to Add a New Slide

Go to “Insert” choose “Slide”
Pick your layout.
Click “OK”
How to Print.

Go to “File” choose “Print”
Click “OK”
