The UBZ-301 is an intelligent protection device to ensure the smooth and safe
running of your AC motors. It is an entire control center in one compact unit.
The UBZ-301 won’t allow a motor to start if the power supply quality is below
standard or if the motor itself has a fault (like faulty stator coil insulation, for
example). After starting the motor it constantly monitors the power supplied and
the state of the motor’s health.
Using sophisticated microprocessor-based technology, the motor protection relay
monitors the electric current feeding your motors, its robust construction withstanding
even extreme variations in voltage. It makes lighting-fast decisions to avoid damage
to your machinery, preventing production delays and costly repairs.

UBZ-301 Main Features and Benefits:
Before starting the motor it tests the mains voltage and checks the coil
insulation of the motor. If the resistance is lower than 0.5 M , it will not
allow the motor to start.
It has a unique method of monitoring the power supply to detect and
identify the exact nature of any mains problems.
It automatically restarts the motor when supply parameters return to
normal whereas for failures requiring human intervention it will not permit
the motor to start until the problem is resolved.
It detects supply discrepancies like phase loss, phase imbalance and phase
sequence and a host of other problems which could damage the motor.
It calculates accumulated limit heat and so prevents overheating before
