HOW TO BUILD A COMPUTER
First you need to have a case to put everything in.
You will need a Power Supply. A power supply provides electricity for many parts inside of the computer.
Then you install the motherboard.
This is piece is like your mother, it organizes everything and makes it all work together.
You also need to have a processor. The processor is like the brain of the computer. The faster the processor, the faster the computer will work.
A fan will go on top of the processor to cool it down. A processor can get very hot. So hot - that it could melt the gold that is part of the processor and it would no longer work.
You will also need RAM memory. Random Access Memory is used when you are working on something before you save. It is like short term memory.
You will need a Hard Drive. A hard drive stores all of your information when you SAVE it. It is like a file cabinet for music , pictures, stories and other things.
You will need power cables. . .
And a Ribbon Cable.
Power cables send electricity to different parts of the computer. The ribbon cable is like a road for information to travel from the mother board to the hard drive.
