Assumptions of this lecture
You have basic skills of
• Powerpoint
• identifying relevant resources on the Internet You have
• a set of slides of a lecture
• an access to a lecture provider
Before building slides for web presentation, you have to thoroughly understand the lecture contents, then
provide
learning and performance objectives of the lecture,
Next,
description
of the lecture provider, how the lecture provider become interested in the topic, and why the lecture provider is excited about the topic,
Finally,
arrange the total number of slides up to 30.

Choose a single color for the slide background (avoid white) When using WordArt for the text, avoid gradient colors When containing images, process the images using a graphic software such as Adobe Photoshop
Readability
Size of the font should be 36 or bigger Use as big font as possible Total lines on one slides should be less than 9 You can use a few color for text in the slide

Putting notes
the left down side of the powerpoint screen, there is a tool bar. From the left, there are ‘Slide View’, ‘Outline View’, ‘Slide Sorter View’, ‘Notes Page View’, and ‘Slide Show.’ Click ‘Notes Page View,’ then note appears saying ‘Click to add text’.
In
Putting notes
You can put notes in the Notes Page, which may explain or add information to the slide. For the notes page, 100 words or less are preferred.

Putting Hyperlinks to the text and images in the slide
1. Open the relevant Internet site in the browser. 2. Select the text or images you want to be hyperlinked in the slide.
3. From the Powerpoint tool bar, click Insert Hyperlink. A Window pops up.
4. Type the URL into the window, then hit OK.
Putting Hyperlinks to the
text in the notes page
1. Open the relevant Internet site in the browser. 2. Write „
„ before the word(s) you want to put a hyperlink. 3. Insert the URL between “” using „cut and paste‟ from the browser. 4. Write after the word(s) you put the hyperlink.
