How to save files on CD-R First have your CD-R disc ready and available. They can purchased from the library service desk for 1 dollar. Follow these steps: Step 1. Insert your CD-R disc carefully into the drive and wait 10 seconds until it is available. Step 2. Click on the Nero Application from the application choices on the CybrarynN window. Step 3. Choose the “Data” Icon—second from the left. Fig A. Step 4. Select “Make a Data CD” Step 5.Use the mouse and left click to select the files you would like to add, then click “Add” and “Finished” in the lower left corner of the window. (Note-to select multiple files, hold the control key and click on the files) See Fig B … Fig B Step 6 . Click the “Next” button Fig. C Step 7. Click the “Burn” Button in lower right corner of the window. Fig. D. Step 8 The CD Burning process has begun. Wait until the Burn Process is completed. This wait time can be from 2 to 10 minutes long. Fig. E. Step 9. Click the “Exit” button in the lower right corner of the window. (see Fig. F. ) Fig. F. Step 10.
