					  Downloading Audio Books: A Step by
             Step Guide
1. Does your Windows PC and/or laptop meet the following requirements?
Operating system: Microsoft® Windows 98 Second Edition (SE), Windows 2000 (Professional
or Server), Windows Millennium Edition (ME), Windows XP (Home Edition or Professional)

Processor: A 233 megahertz (MHz) processor, such as an Intel Pentium II or Advanced Micro
Devices (AMD) processor

RAM: 64 megabytes (MB) – memory.

Free hard disk space: 100 MB. Keep in mind, this 100 MB is only for the OverDrive Media
Console application. More hard disk space is required for the actual audio book.

Sound card: 16-bit sound card

Browser: Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.01 (or newer)

Media Player: Windows Media Player 9 Series (or newer)



        If yes, move on to step 2 …

2. Download/Install OverDrive Media Console at:
        http://www.overdrive.com/MediaConsole/download.asp

3. Confirm Windows Media Player is version 9.0 or newer.

4. Upgrade OverDrive Media Console Media Player Security.

5. Begin to download Digital Audio Books at http://digitalbooks.tblc.org (Note: The
Library card number is your Student ID number and the password is the last 4 digits of
Social Security Number).
