How to use MATHO-SUB Software
OBJECTIVE: The objective of this software is to improve Mental Calculation. After a regular practice on Subtraction software your calculation speed should increase 10 to 15 times. This software should be used with the Vedic Subtraction Course as provided on the following URL:

would not require to take ten from the left hand digit even if the digit to be subtracted is more... An example can be 481- 347 =134. In this example 7 is more than 1 but you do not require taking ten from 8. In Vedic Subtraction you would learn to subtract two digit from two digit, two digit from three digit, two digit from four digit, three digit from three digit, three digit from four digit and four digit from four digit without taking a carry..]
Introduction: MATHO-SUB software has been divided in three levels viz. Beginner, Medium & Expert. In each level you would find three speeds viz. slow, medium & fast. You can even vary the motion of the falling numbers in two ways viz. top to bottom & random. Two or three numbers with minus sign between them falls from top of the screen to the bottom of the screen. The students are required to choose the correct answer by selecting it from the given numbers during the time falling numbers touches bottom of the screen. If a student is able to select the correct answer then he gets a point.
How to run the software: Step-1: When you start the software you see MATHOMATICA logo
and Next button. Click on next button.
Setp-2:
The game is divided in three levels viz. Beginner Level,
Medium Level and Expert level. Choose the desired level.
Step-3
As soon as you press on the level a message appears on
the left side. It asks you whether you would like to start from the beginning. If you click on Yes the game starts from the beginning and if you click on No button then the game starts from where you want. There is a scoreboard on the top-right corner. The score will increase by 1 after every correct answer.
Step-4
The following screen will appear if you want to start the
game from desired position. Suppose you want to start the game from 25 then write 25 in the box on the message box then click OK.
Step-5
Now the game starts. You see the numbers are moving up
and down and after every cycle the number is changed. The answers are written on the bottom right corner. You have to click on correct answer. Suppose in the given example 745 - 412 is 333 so you click on 333. If you click on 333 then your score increases by 1. There are three Speed Variation in the falling of numbers Slow, Medium, and Fast. You can change the speed according to your ability. There are two motion of falling numbers top to Bottom and Random motion. You can change the motion of the numbers accordingly. You can Exit from the game anytime by clicking on Quit button.
Step-6
If you click on the wrong answer then an error message
appears on the screen.
Step-7
This game is divided into many tests. When a test is
complete then a message box appears. If you want to continue then click on Yes otherwise click on No.
Step-8
When you complete the game then following message box
appears. If you want to restart the game then click on No or if you want to exit from the game then click on Yes.
Step-9 The result shows total number of questions in the game, questions attempted by you and total number of correct answers.
Working Methodology: You should start with Beginner Level >> Slow Speed You would be able to find out with-in no time if the speed is too slow for you. If you find that the speed is too slow then change the speed to medium. In the Beginner Level >> Medium Speed your Attempt % should be above 90 and Correct by Attempt Ratio should more than 90% if you would like to proceed to Beginner Level>> Fast Speed. (You would be required to calculate all this with the help of the data in the result screen: step-9) Again if you would like to proceed from Beginner Level >> Fast Speed to Medium Level then again the condition stated above should be satisfied.
