Deloitte to Consolidate Area Offices in Downtown Dayton

Deloitte, one of the nation’s largest accounting and consulting
organizations, will consolidate its Dayton and Kettering locations in
downtown Dayton, resulting in 150 new downtown jobs and a new
headquarters for all 210 of its area employees.

Deloitte recently signed a seven-year sub-lease for the 30,000-sq.-
ft. fifth floor of the WorkFlowOne Building at 220 E. Monument Ave.
Employees will move into the new space during April of 2010.

“We were looking for the right combination of features that would
allow us to both support our client needs while providing a state-of-
the-art environment for our employees,” said Ed Bentley, managing
partner of Deloitte’s Dayton practice, Deloitte & Touche LLP. “The
WorkflowOne building meets our commitment to downtown, yet at
the same time we are 10 minutes from Wright-Patterson Air Force
Base and many of our suburban clients.”

Deloitte is taking advantage of the Dayton Economic Attraction
Program (DEAP), a City of Dayton incentive for new jobs created
downtown and in key growth industries. In addition, the City
Commission is expected to approve up to $200,000 from the City of
Dayton’s Development Fund to assist with relocation costs. The City
of Dayton and the Downtown Dayton Partnership have been working
with Deloitte for several months to identify new office space for the
firm, with the cooperation of the Dayton/Montgomery County Port

“The strong support provided by the City was an essential ingredient
in the decision to consolidate our physical assets downtown,”
Bentley said.
