How to Create a Flip Chart in PowerPoint Create six PowerPoint slides that have facts typed into them. Create six more PowerPoint slides with the answers to the facts. Make sure PowerPoint slide #1 and PowerPoint slide #7 are a match. The following slides need to match: #2 with #8, #3 with #9, #4 with #10, #5 with #11, and #6 with #12. When you print out the slides, choose Handouts with 6 Slides per page. You will end up with two sheets of paper with business card size slides printed on them. Cut three sides of each slide (to make a window that flips up) on only one sheet of paper. An Exact-o knife works great for this. Now place the uncut sheet of paper under the sheet with the cut-out parts. Staple the edge of the two sheets of paper. Flip up the windows to find the answers to go along with your facts. This project is great for teaching students all kinds of facts. (Math, States and Capitals, etc.) By the time they have assembled the project, they have memorized the facts.
