How to connect your Mac to the TU-Delft Network via 802.1x Ethernet

Note: Make sure your Mac has the latest updates!
-See About This Mac in the Apple-menu
-Update if Version is lower than 10.5.4 by clicking Software Update

Go to System Preferences
-Select Network (the Globe-icon)
-Select Ethernet




-Click Advanced
-Select the 802.1x-Tab
-Click on the Plus in the bottom left
-Select Add System Profile




-deselect everything except PEAP
-Click OK, you will return to the network screen
-Click Apply, you will see the following screen:




Next, you will see a certificate screen




-Click Show Certificate, the screen on the right appears
-Check Always trust....
-Provide an administrator account and password, if asked for

Next, the 802.1X Authentication screen will appear




Fill in: your_netid@tudelft.nl and your (netid)password (@tudelft.nl is important)

Now you are connected to the TU-Delft network, please restart your Mac.



From now on, every time you start your Mac (and are connected to the BK-network), first the
802.1x Authentication-screen appears.
Fill in: your_netid@tudelft.nl and your (netid)password (@tudelft.nl is important)

Next you see a normal Logon Screen:
You can login normally (with your NetID and password, if you have a ʻMigratedʼ Mac)
