For this example we‘ll make an audiocopy of
this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TFdcPc‐4Ris)
•This is the main window
•The main elements will be explained in the next steps
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TFdcPc‐4Ris

•Paste it into the adressbar of NoMule (Use CTRL+V to do that)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TFdcPc‐4Ris

shown right to the Downloadbutton

clicking „Stop“
A Save‐File‐Dialog will be shown
Choose a filename and where to save the file
For Mp3‐Files choose the extension .mp3
After saving the word „Done“ is right to the
Downloadbutton and the adressbar is cleared
For Mp3s consider the following naming‐
scheme:
Artist‐Title.mp3
E.g. for „Panic“ by „The Smiths“:
The_Smiths‐Panic.mp3
Now you know how to use NoMule on a basic
level
But let‘s dig deeper
Let‘s dig deeper
NoMule offers you to
download videos from certain mediaproviders
&
convert them into certain mediaformats
NoMule currently supports downloading
from
YouTube
MyVideo
YouPorn
Others will be added soon
Shown in the formatchooser
Currently there are:
Copy
Mp3
iPod
Others will be added soon
Copy means
No conversion will take place
The files saved are the files downloaded
In most cases you should choose the
extension .flv for copied files
ForYouTube, if the downloaded files are big,
choose .mp4 as extension
Files will be converted to Mp3s with
128kbps
Constant bitrate
Name Mp3‐files like this
Author‐Title.mp3
E.g. for „Panic“ by „The Smiths“ choose
The_Smiths‐Panic.mp3
The following metainformation for Mp3s will
automatically be added
Author / Band name
Title
Album
Lyrics
Album cover as a JPG‐File in the same folder
That‘s why naming Mp3s in a proper way is
recommended
You can download videos so you can then
view them on your iPod
For iPod‐compatible files choose the
extension .mp4
•Click the plus button to add further panels so you can parallely download files
