                      FINANCIAL EDUCATION SEMINARS

Ridgewood, N.Y., March 27, 2009 – Ridgewood Savings Bank announced today that it
will be hosting First-Time Homebuyers Workshops and Financial Education Seminars at
select branch locations. The programs will be held on Tuesday evenings during April,
May, June and September 2009. Both the workshops and seminars, which are free and
open to the public, have been designed to address financial concerns that are more
pressing than ever in today’s economy.

At the First-Time Homebuyers Workshops, bank representatives, mortgage consultants,
and a licensed architect will take participants through the entire home buying process—
from the initial decision making cost analysis, to criteria for selecting the right home, to
the "do's and don'ts" of filing the mortgage application.

The Financial Education Seminars will explain how to start and build up a savings
account for emergencies, financial goals, and retirement, among other topics.
