2nd Grade Spelling Lists
Be sure to circle the word(s) your child misses each week and continue to practice spelling all the missed
words until mastered. There will be “Review Spelling Tests” on short weeks when we don’t have a formal
spelling test . For example the week before Thanksgiving generally has only 3 days, and we don’t have a
regular reading lesson with regular spelling list that week. We will let you know when and give you a list of the
words all the children missed for these special retests.
