COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This course is designed for a person who has an understanding of project management concepts, who is
responsible for creating and modifying project plans, and who needs a tool to manage those project
plans.

PREREQUISITES:

Students enrolling in this class should have an understanding of project management concepts and
knowledge of a Windows operating system—specifically, how to launch and close programs; navigate to
information stored on the computer; and manage files and folders. A basic knowledge of Microsoft Word
and Microsoft Excel would be helpful, but is not required

AUDIENCE:

Persons who are responsible for creating and modifying project plans.

PERFORMANCE-BASED OBJECTIVES:

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
     Create a project plan and enter task information
     Create a work breakdown structure by organizing tasks and setting task relationships
     Assign project resources
     Analyze the project plan
     Update a project plan
     Create custom reports
     Create linked projects
