Rules of the Game
There are 7 tables in the LMC with 3 students per table. There will be a speaker
card at each table. This is the only person at the table who is allowed to give the
answer. The team members will discuss the answer with the speaker before the
speaker gives the LMS the answer.
After the speaker answers the question, the card will be passed clockwise.
There will be 1 score keeper at each table. This role will NOT change. The
score keeper will only be responsible for THEIR table’s score. If needed, the CT
can also keep score of all the tables.
If a table can’t answer the question or guesses incorrectly, the next table will
attempt to answer the question. If the next table answers correctly, they will then
also be able to pick their category and $ amount.
If the next table answers incorrectly, the LMS will just ask the whole class, pick a
person and NO ONE will be awarded points. The table that answered the
previous table’s answer incorrectly will still get a turn and choose their category
and $ amount.
Final Jeopardy- Score keeper will write down a dollar amount wager BEFORE
the question is asked. Amount cannot be more than the team’s current total
amount. When the question is presented, the teams will discuss the answer with
their team and write down the answer they believe is correct. If the answer is
correct, students will add the $ amount to their score. If the answer is incorrect,
students will subtract the answer from their score.
The team with the highest score is the winner!
CT and LMS can decide prizes or privileges for the winner.
