Language Enrichment is a 30-hour class focused on giving elementary school teachers the tools they need to teach a
three-year reading inclusion curriculum that implements evidence-based practices.
Multisensory Grammar is a three-hour class for elementary regular education teachers, elementary and secondary
special education teachers, educational therapists, and dyslexia specialists. Participants learn sequential steps in
teaching sentence construction and multisensory methods for teaching the eight parts of speech.
Written Composition is a three-hour class for elementary regular education teachers, elementary and secondary
special education teachers, educational therapists, and dyslexia specialists. Participants will learn the basic structure
of various paragraphs and multisensory strategies that motivate students and teaches them the basics of writing.
Developing Metacognitive Skills
Developing Metacognitive Skills is a 10-hour class for reading teachers in grades 4 - 8, dyslexia specialists, educational
therapists, and adult literacy providers. This class provides strategies and instruction that will help students improve
their vocabulary and comprehension by teaching them to think about their thinking before, while, and after they read.
Young Writers Workshop
For students in grades 5-8, the Young Writers Workshop inspires creative writing skills while improving grammar,
vocabulary, and spelling. Workshops meet twice a week for 4-8 weeks.
Multisensory Reading Camp - Summer 2009
Created specifically for children ages 7-10, the camp curriculum focuses on instruction in reading, writing, and
vocabulary development. Various forms of technology and hands-on, creative art lessons will be integrated.
