How to create a quick 5 slide show with Power Point
This will bring up a wizard asking you to provide some general information. The wizard will prepare the show for you. I find this to leave you with alot of editing to do. By far the easiest way to go. Click here and a group of templates will appear. Simply choose a design you like and go on with life. This is for the experienced user. You have total design control here. Have an idea in mind before you click here.
Pay attention to these tips. You can always learn something.
Click here if you are opening a presentation already created. Perhaps one on a diskette.
These buttons control your view of the items in the left box. From left to right they are large icon, list view and details.
Choose a design and click OK.
You will have several options here. Click on the tab that says "presentation designs". As you click on each of the options you will see the backgrounds appear in the preview section on the right of the box.

As you click on each of the styles. The lower right corner will give you information about the slide layout. For example whether it is test and clipart, of text and a chart, etc…
Click here and type your title. Click here to add any other information you may want on your title slide.
5. To add more slides: Go to the Insert menu and select insert new slide. You may also use the keyboard shortcut (Control M). Each time you request a new slide you will be prompted to select the layout as before. (Remember you can change the layout at a later time if you so desire.) Add 4 more slides with the text and clipart format or the clipart and text format. To get to the next slide simply click the bottom scroll arrow at the right side of the page. On the next slide continue to type in the text. Do this by simply clicking on the text box and typing in your words. Be sure to save often.
