                                   We are very glad to inform you that Christian Action has been granted permission by

 ﹡The Social Welfare Department has permitted 3 organizations to sell flags on 13 March 2010 (Saturday) in Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and the New
  Territories regions. Christian Action will be selling flags in Kowloon region.
Ethnic Minority Programme: We aim to improve the quality of life for ethnic minorities in Hong
Kong and promote social integration and racial harmony across the territory. We provide
one-stop employment service ranging from job retraining, workshops, networking, and referrals
to placements, to help the ethnic minority groups to adapt and integrate into the life in Hong
Kong. We are one of the social services organizations which offer support services for the
ethnic minorities. Our two Service Centres mainly provide services and give assistance to the
Nepalese, Pakistanis and Indians who are living in Hong Kong. Last year, we served nearly
25,000 clients.

Christian Action is a Hong Kong registered charitable and non-government subsidized
organization established in 1985 (Registration no: 161383). Our mission is to help the poor
and disadvantaged in Hong Kong and Mainland China with particular emphasis upon displaced
persons, irrespective of race, sex, religion or nationality.

Under the recent financial hardship, we foresee that it will not be at all easy to call for
volunteers and donations. We do hope that you and your students could extend your
support to us and participate in our coming Flag Day. We attach herewith donation and

Remarks
1. Volunteers below the age of 14 must be accompanied by parent(s) or guardian(s).。
2. Volunteers please help sell flags at designated area from 7.00am to 12.30pm (at least 3 hrs services) on 13 March 2010, and return flag bags to
    designated collection station before the end of flag selling activity.
3. This flag selling activity is limited to Kowloon region only.
4. All participating volunteers will be covered by accident insurance.
5. We will first take your choices of flag selling areas into consideration but, subject to the actual situation, volunteers may be assigned to sell flags in
    other areas.
