Under sections 15 and 21 of the Immigration, Asylum and
Nationality Act 2006, we have a responsibility as an employer to
ensure that you are legally entitled to work in the UK. In order to
establish this, we require you to enclose a copy of documentary
evidence with your application form.

Please refer to the enclosed lists of acceptable documents. If you
are not subject to immigration control or have no restrictions on your
stay in the UK, please produce a document or a specified
combination of documents from list A.

If you cannot produce a document from list A, you will need to refer
to list B.

Please note, if you are enclosing a copy of your UK birth certificate,
it must be a copy that has your parents’ names on it, not the
shortened version.

Please send photocopies of documents only. If you don’t have
access to a photocopier, our reception staff at the municipal
offices on the Promenade will be happy to assist.
