How to Apply a Decal
1. Surface Preparation. All surfaces must be cleaned prior to application of vinyl. Surfaces may be cleaned with isopropyl alcohol, Windex, 409, or other product that effectively removes dirt and oils, and leaves no residue. 2. Temperature Requirements. Air and application surface temperatures must be above 55o. 3. Application Instructions. Place decal in proper alignment and use tape to hold in place. Carefully peel off backing and hold sticky side of decal away from surface. Then slowly squeegee the decal starting at center of the taped edge, working in small 1 or 2 inch strokes, smoothly applying the decal. Always work from the taped edge outward to prevent bubbles or wrinkles. Always hold the decal away from surface so it doesn’t stick until pressed on by squeegee.
