HOW TO CREATE A PERFORMANCE PLAN USING PAA

Higher Level Review (HLR) Note: Do not use the Back Button on the Browser, use only the buttons within the PAA. Note: The system allows two options to accomplish HLR: 1) Electronically through the PAA, or 2) the rating official may record HLR through an alternative method. This guidance addresses the steps a higher level review official must take when the appraisal is sent for review through the PAA. If the appraisal is sent for review through the PAA, you will get a notification about it. 1. Log into DPCDS https://cpps.donhr.navy.mil:8007/OA_HTML/AppsLocalLogin.jsp 2. At the Navigator Screen – click on My Workplace on left side of screen. 3. Click (NSPS Appraisals (My Workplace). This will bring to you the PAA Welcome Page. 4. Click on the (Go to Main Page) button at either the top or the bottom of the screen to go to the next screen, the main page. 5. Click the (View) button next to the employee’s name to begin the process. Next click the (Update) button. At this point you may click the (Approve) button or the (Return for Correction) button. You will then receive a screen with an optional message box. Click the (Return to Rating Official) button and then click (Yes.) Click Logout at the top or bottom of the page to sign out of the system.
