WHO CAN ASK A QUESTION? You do not have to be an actual patient of Dr Amys to ask a question on this forum. The waiting list is well over 3 years and counting but by using this forum and getting all the relevant literature( DVD's ,books, downloads etc.) you can do this protocol with the help of a local doctor. GENETIC TESTING: The " Glossary " forum has the specific genetic tests listed. The new tests will be posted as soon as they are available, It take about 8-14 weeks for Dr Amy to get the results and they will be sent to you with a copy of the Genetics bypass book and 2 set DVD for your own interpretation, if you still want Dr Amy to do a Genetic Analysis Review(GAR) , there will be a fee ,Then it is based on a first come first served basis. HOW TO POST: To post a new topic/question click on the left hand side top or bottom of the appropriate forum in an oval you will see the words "New topic" click on it and it will bring up the box to type your message in, and click submit. To reply to a previous post click on the oval that says " Post reply", type your message and hit submit at the bottom. HOW LONG TO GET AN ANSWER; It takes a few days to get a personal reply from DR Amy , Please Be Patient! esp during the summer months or when it is posted that she is away. The parents on this list are very generous with their time and you will get to know that some of them DO know what they are talking about. If you would like to help out a new member please do so, but try to stay within the parameters of how Dr. Amy herself would answer. RNA'S: The RNA drops can be a big component to the protocol but are not mandatory, and no they do not have all the same ingredients. There are ways to get around the cost , like alternating days . By doing the genetic testing you can customize your supplement plan and know exactly which ones you will need. Health foundation, Nerve calm, Stress, and Bowel can help anyone in any stage of the program or any other program for that matter . The Metals drops I-IV should not be used with other chelating agents. They all can be mixed or given one by one. A standard dose is 0.5ml which is about 1/2 dropper. Depending on how often you use them, most will last for a few weeks.
LOW GLUTAMATE DIET: The diet in the book was just a reference for people to understand that glutamates are in all foods, If you are doing the GFCF diet you are probably already limiting the bulk of them but looking at ingredients in all things especially vitamins and limiting the excess glutamate is much more important, everything in moderation. SUPPLEMENTS: Dr Amy has listed on www.holisticheal.com the supplements suggested for each phase. You do not need to do all of them. It is designed for you to pick and choose what is best for each child. Also she NEVER ever uses the suggested dosage of anything , its more like a little bit to start to cover the basics. So if it says 3-6 capsules a day you would normally start with 1/4 to 1/2 a tablet or capsule. Thank you! Erin G. Moderator AKA GriffkoomBack to top
