How to register for INTERNATIONAL/ GLOBAL HEALTH EXPERIENCES AND ELECTIVES Please visit the Mount Sinai Global Health Center website http://www.mssm-ghc.org Select the “Medical Students” tab for information on organizing your global health and international (s) electives. Click on the “Clinical Elective and Experiences” tab for the application procedure. Please note that all international/global health electives must be approved by Global Health Center faculty prior to travel. Medical students seeking an international/global health experience or elective should submit an application through the GHC website. After the application is submitted, students must meet with either Dr. Hahn or Anandaraja to discuss project and clinical elective plans, review travel safety issues, and receive final approval for the elective/experience. Please contact the GHC Program Coordinator, Jenifar Chowdhury (jenifar.chowdhury@mssm.edu) for further information. Students will be approved once all required steps have been met and in consultation with the Assistant Dean of Student Affairs, Ms. Laurie Brown. Under certain circumstances a "conditional approval" can be provided by Drs. Hahn, Anandaraja and Ms. Brown.
