members will have a chance to discuss the issues that are important to them and their business for 10-12
minutes with one candidate before the candidates change tables. This special dinner will be limited to 80

ECHO Players presents The Importance of Being Earnest, Oscar Wilde’s classic comedy of wit and

University Women's Group (CFUW) annual Book Sale - October 18th and 19th at Wembley Mall. All
proceeds go to scholarships for local students pursuing post secondary education. All donations of gently used
books in the weeks leading up to the sale either at the drop off box in Wembley Mall or CFUW will arrange pick

The Forest Trails at Tiger Lily Farm are Looking Pretty Scary! - There are over 20 Scarecrows lining the
trail for visitors to the Barnyard to view. Take a ride on “Little Toot”, pulled by a 1948 tractor, then come back to
the Barnyard and vote for your favourite one. The People’s Choice award winner will be announced at 12:00
noon on Monday October 13th when prizes will be awarded to all of the Scarecrow creators.
And it’s not too late, you can still enter a Scarecrow, there is no cost. Build your scarecrow at home, bring your
supplies and make the mess at Tiger Lily Farm or use the supplies that are on hand at the Barnyard.
Remember, your scarecrow will live outdoors in the forest until October 13th. Entry categories include Family,
Child over 10, Child under 10, Adult, Adult Group or Business, Child Group or Tiger Lily Farm Staff. Tiger Lily
Farm is open everyday 10:00 am - 4:00 pm until October 31st. Watch for the opening of their Pumpkin Patch
