The program matches volunteers with children in grades K-8 who need academic support. We recruit, train, and place tutors in schools and provide on-going support to them. For many students, this opportunity to meet regularly with a knowledgeable, caring, and committed adult is the greatest part of the program. Commitment is one hour per week, and before- and after-school hours are available. For more info contact Starr at starrn@jewishinseattle.org or (206) 774-2279.
