                                            Mathon Church Organ
       This Bevington Organ installed in 1866 was dismantled renovated and reassembled / by TREVOR G.
       TIPPLE, organ builder in Spring 1992 at a cost of £8000. / This sum of money was met from legacies
       and gifts in memory of Mesdames ILSE BRINDLEY, / BEATTIE FITZER, DOROTHY WORRALL,
       ELSIE CLAYTON and EVE HOOK; a large donation from / Clyde Petroleum four other generous
       individual donations plus the proceeds from / fund-raising events arranged by members of this church./
       The work carried out included the re-leathering of the bellows; cleaning and / replacing working parts;
       restoring the metal pipe work and wooden casement / and extending the pedal board from one octave
       to thirty notes with appropriate modification of the manual to pedal couplers./ it was dedicated on
       Easter Day 1992
