THANKSGIVING DAY
PROGRAM: The Fareway & HyVee Stores of Red Oak and the Montgomery County Family YMCA Thanksgiving Day “Turkey Trot” (2 mile fun run, 2 mile walk and 5 mile run). WHEN: Thursday, November 27, 2008 (Thanksgiving morning) WHERE: Race will begin and end at the YMCA at 101 E. Cherry Street in Red Oak, Iowa. TIME: Race begins at 7:30 a.m. All men, women, and youth will run/walk the course together. WHO: Any interested youth and/or adult who enjoy a refreshing run or walk. WHAT A NICE WAY TO BEGIN YOUR THANKSGIVING DAY. Then you can go home or to relatives and enjoy the Thanksgiving feast that has been prepared. T-shirts available to first 120 participants. COST: $ 10.00 per person (if you register prior to the race) $ 16.00 per person (if you register the day of the race) DIVISIONS FOR RUNNERS (Note, walkers are not in a division and will not receive any awards, but will be eligible for door prizes.)
