Dear Editor,

What is the point of providing health insurance for more people if it’s not going to cover
all the services that people need?

Women need comprehensive reproductive health care, including abortion services. It’s
bad enough that Congress is planning to continue to deny the use of federal funding for
abortions. Now, some conservative members of Congress want to tell women with
private insurance that we can’t pay for abortion coverage with our own dollars!

Health reform should be about quality, affordable health care – not politics and ideology.
