Artist in Residence
The Rote Fabrik enables professional artists to have residencies in Switzerland. Artists in Residence stays can be
organised for periods of between three and six months. With this Artists in Residency programme, we are encouraging
intercultural exchange in the fields of visual arts, music, literature and dance.

Conditions
Artists applying for a residency must have a convincing track record in the arts, be willing to engage with the culture of
the host country and have the requisite language skills. Residencies apply to non swiss Artists and Artists not living in
Switzerland.
Funding is available for:
• Travel expenses
• Insurance
• Costs of board and accommodation

Enclosures (required)
        Relevant documentation of previous works and projects
        Further material (CD-ROMs, videos, publications, etc.)

Preferred period of residency
from:         01.01.2011        to:      31.12.2011

Deadline:
Applications must arrive at the Rote Fabrik office by June 30, 2010 for residencies in 2011.
