PUBLIC NARRATIVE
Officer Gilsrud and I Officer Lenarz (squad 198) were sent to 1451 university Blessings Salon on a dispute
over a hair style. Upon arrival I spoke with the victim who told me that she was a hair stylist and had spent over
two and a half hours styling a customers hair. She said the customer told her that she was not happy with the
way her hair turned out and was refused to pay for it.The Suspect 23 year old female was still on scene. The
suspect told us she was upset over the way her bangs turned out and didn't think they looked cute, so she
said she was not willing to pay for the style and also was unwilling to allow the stylist to "fix" her bangs to her
liking as the stylist suggested. The suspect was given a citation for theft and released.
