Meet the Faculty: Dr. Whitney Douglas

Dr. Whitney Douglas joined the Department of English in
2008 as an Assistant Professor. Since her arrival, she has
taught several courses, including Scientific and Technical Writ-
ing, Advanced Expository Writing, Visual Rhetoric, and Literacy
Studies. Her research engages community audiences and
community needs, while addressing composition and rhetoric.
She is currently working on two articles, one of which dis-
cusses the literacy practices of Nebraska suffragists. More...

Faculty Publications and Presentations: World War I Almanac

                                          Professor Emeritus Dr. David R. Woodward has
                                          published the book “World War I Almanac,” as
                                          part of the Almanacs of American Wars series.
                                          This almanac spans more than five decades, pro-
                                          viding details of the war that are usually omitted or
                                          forgotten. Dr. Woodward retired from the Depart-
                                          ment of History in 2006, with 36 years of service
                                          to Marshall University.
