Police Credit Union Sponsorship Guidelines
Each year, Police Credit Union is involved in, and contributes to, a number of excellent events,
charities and societies. They are all community-focused clubs and associations, and we are
proud to be part of the happiness they bring to people.
Undoubtedly the most prominent example of our commitment to the community is our
long-standing support of the Credit Union Christmas Pageant.
As we’re sure you can appreciate - Police Credit Union is flooded every year with requests for
Whilst all are worthwhile causes that we would love to help, we need to have certain
information before we can make a decision regarding your request.
Sponsorship agreements are business propositions so be clear about why you think this is a
good proposition for Police Credit Union. The expenses we incur in the process of sponsorship
must be to the benefit of all of our Members.
The following guidelines apply to all sponsorship requests:
> As GST applies to sponsorships, you must have an ABN and be registered for GST.
> Police Credit Union will not sponsor individuals.
You must also clearly document:
> Your costs,
> What the money will be used for, and
> The time frame over which you require funds.
All sponsorship requests must be made in writing. Please allow 28 days for Police Credit
Union to respond in writing before querying the status of your request.
