Day 2 Athens Breakfast at Hotel, Morning City Tour of Athens - (SIC Basis) - Enjoy a City tour of Athens, combining many of the city's principle modern and classical sights. This great value day out will allow you to see the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in front of Parliament House on Constitution Square, the Panathenian Stadium (site of 1st Modern Olympic Games in 1896) and the Presidential Palace. You will then be taken to the Temple of Olympian Zeus which is an impressive temple dedicated to the father of the gods. The climax of the tour is a visit to the citadel of the ancient city of Athens, the Acropolis, with its many monuments including the incredible Parthenon. You will also be able to visit the Acropolis Museum. Afternoon free at leisure. Overnight at Hotel Cruise Day 3 Athens -Hydra, Poros & Aegina Cruise Breakfast at Hotel, Full Day Hydra, Poros & Aegina Cruise to 3 very different Greek Islands. Poros is a lush island with a maze of narrow streets. Aegina is the main producer of pistachio nuts in Greece, while Hydra is home to a large artist community and where beautiful boutiques line the scenic harbour. Our first port of call is the Island of Hydra where you will have free time to explore the shops, amble around the town or go for a swim. An early afternoon departure from Hydra, when your buffet lunch will be served, finds us sailing through the narrow strait separating the Peloponnesian coast from the Island of Poros, our second stop with time for a short visit. Then it’s back on-board for the cruise to our third Island Aegina. Here you may join the optional excursion to the Temple of Aphaia (not included in the price) or visit the main town. Finally we will reembark for our journey back to the Flisvos marina. Return to your hotel. Overnight at Hotel Day 4 Athens Breakfast at Hotel, Delphi Full Day Tour Tour our(SIC Basis) - We depart from Athens we will pass through Levadia and Arachova (which is famous for its bright multi-coloured carpets). The tour then continues on to the impressive archaeological site of Delphi which is situated at the foot of the mountain Parnos. Delphi, the sanctuary of Apollo, offers the most amazing views of the olive groves of Amphissa, the Corinthian Gulf and the Pelopennese mountains. We will then visit the museum which houses the famous bronze Charioteer and the statue of Antinoos. From there we will guide you along the sacred way to the Athenian treasury followed by a chance to visit the unforgettable Temple of Apollo, where the masses flocked to consult the oracle. This ancient site, backed by the imposing Mount Parnassus, is situated in one of the most beautiful natural settings in Greece. Return to your hotel. Overnight at Hotel Day 5 Breakfast at Hotel, Day free until departure transfer to airport.
