Day 1: Athens Arrival Upon arrival at Athens airport you will be greeted and transferred by private car to your select hotel. The remainder of the day is to be spent at your leisure. Overnight in Athens Day 2: Athens Half-Day Sightseeing Tour Enjoy a tour of Athens, combining many of the city’s principal modern and classical sights. This tour includes an overview of the modern city and striking contrasts to the remains of its glorious past. Drive by the tomb of the Unknown Soldier in front of the Parliament House on Constitution Square, the Panathenian stadium (site of the first modern Olympic Games in 1896). See vistas of the Presidential Palace (ex Royal Palace), government buildings and elegant homes. Drive along Panepistimiou Avenue and view the Catholic cathedral, the Academy, University, National Library and Omonia Square. In contrast, we visit the Roman Temple of Olympian Zeus and the crowning beauty and glory that was Athens, the Acropolis with its many monuments atop its rocky base, including the awesome Parthenon, the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike and the Erechtheion with its Porch of Maidens. We also visit the Acropolis museum. You will be returned to your select hotel a little afternoon. The remainder of the day is to be spent at your leisure. Overnight in Athens

Day 4: Olympia-Nafpaktos-Delphi In the morning visit the archaeological site and the museum of Olympia. Drive via Patras to Rion where you will cross the newly built cable bridge to Antirion on the mainland of Greece. Continue through Nafpaktos to Delphi for dinner and overnight

Day 5: Delphi-Kalambaka (Meteora) In the morning visit the archaeological site and the museum of Delphi. Depart for Kalambaka, driving through Amphissa, Lamia and Trikala. Afternoon arrival in Kalambaka for dinner and overnight

Day 3: Athens-Mycenae-Epidaurus-Olympia Drive to the Corinth Canal for a short stop. Continue onwards to Epidaurus for a visit to the Theatre and archaeological site and then to Nafplion. After a brief stop you will drive to Mycenae to visit the archaeological site and then depart for Olympia, passing through the central Peloponnese cities of Megalopolis and Tripolis. Evening arrival in Olympia for dinner and overnight

Day 6: Kalambaka (Meteora)- Thermopylae-Athens In the morning visit the breathtaking Meteora. In the early afternoon you will drive back to Athens, passing through Thermopylae and Kamena Vourla. Early evening arrival in Athens. Overnight in Athens
