Can you set a table better than Martha Stewart? Want to show those Project Runway contestants that you can sew too? Now is the time to registered for the 2008 Merced County Spring Fair. The Friday, April 4th entry deadline is just around the corner and that means it’s time for exhibitors of all ages to register their arts, crafts, recipes and handiwork. All Merced county residents are encouraged to showcase their talents at the Spring Fair in Los Banos. During the fair’s five day run, beginning Wednesday, April 30th, exhibitors’ handiwork will be on display throughout the fairgrounds. Chances are, if you can build it, bake it, grow it or graze it, you can exhibit it at the Spring Fair. Exhibitor handbooks are available online at and at the Merced County Spring Fair office located at 403 F Street in Los Banos. A number of contests in the Senior, Junior, 4-H and FFA exhibit divisions must be entered by Tuesday April 1 – this is no April Fools! Exhibitors are encouraged to refer to the Merced County Spring Fair Exhibitor Handbook for a complete listing of contests, rules and deadlines. The mission of the Merced County Spring Fair is to create memories worth repeating by providing quality education, entertainment and courteous service at a safe facility. The Merced County Spring Fair’s presenting sponsor is Food4Less and Valley Wide Distributing joins as the exclusive malt beverage sponsor of the fair with their Corona and Corona Light brands this year. Ranchwood Homes underwrites the Little Hands Sponsor;

Memorial Hospital Los Banos will be sponsoring the Lost Kid’s Booth and the First Aid and the Los Banos Enterprise is the Opening Day Sponsor of the fair in addition to the Community Stage. The fabulous Midway of Family Fun is brought by Anderson Homes. Other sponsors of the Fair include Out and About Magazine, KUBB Country 96.3; KABX Oldies 97.5; HOT 104.7; Radio Lobo 98., Out and About Magazine and Save Mart Supermarkets.
