2008 Kingsley PTO Silent Auction
In conjunction with the Ice Cream Social on May 13, Kingsley Elementary will be holding a silent auction. We have had many generous donations from area businesses, Kingsley neighbors, and school families. Thanks to all of you who have contributed in this effort to raise money for our school! Rules: 1. A bid is entered by printing your name, phone number, and bid in dollars. It is essential that we have your correct phone number in order to contact you if you have won the item. 2. Bids below the minimum bid will not be accepted. 3. Bids should be in whole dollars and must exceed the previous bid by at least $1. 4. The silent auction bidding will begin at 5:00 on Tuesday, May 13 and will end at 7:00 p.m. Bids that are placed on the sheets after this time will not be accepted. 5. Winners of the items will be listed at the close of the auction. You will be able to check to see if you won the item by looking at the list of item winners. 6. Items can be claimed at 7:30 the evening of the social. If you do not claim your item that evening, you will be notified by telephone on May 13. 7. Payment in cash or check (made out to Kingsley PTO) must be received before you are able to take the item. 8. Items that are not claimed within ONE WEEK’S time will go to the runner-up bidder. 9. All sales are final. All items and services are donated and being sold “as is.” Please check all gift certificates or gift cards for possible expiration dates. 10. The following baskets have been donated by our Kingsley families. The proceeds from these baskets will go directly towards each classroom for supplies for that classroom. The students in each class will be able to decide how best to spend the money to benefit the students who will be in that class next year. Some possibilities include books, instructional materials, indoor recess games, or science lab supplies.
