Christ Lutheran Church
Blaine, Minnesota www.clcblaine.com Pastors John Bucka Margaret Guelker

IMMEDIATE ASSISTANCE NEEDED We now have a closing date to convert our construction loan to a mortgage. We will close on the mortgage on or before September 4. As indicated in the letter which accompanied the most recent gifting statement, it is vitally important we are all current with our gifting; for ministry and outreach (which supports our monthly expenses) and for the building fund (which supports the construction/remodeling and soon the mortgage payment). If you are behind in giving to the building fund it would be extremely helpful if you could be current by August 15 which will help make the mortgage closing go smoothly. If you are behind in ministry and outreach it would also be extremely helpful to become current as soon as possible. With our mortgage closing approaching we CANNOT borrow from the building fund to support ministry and outreach this summer. Sincerely, Mark Bacigalupo President, Church Council

Stewardship Connections

Seek and ye shall find! Knock and the door shall be opened! Ask, and it shall be given! Those three phrases are another way not only to sum up our spiritual lives, but they also give us our motivation for faithful stewardship as well. Seek, knock, and ask! As we look forward to continuing our partnership in ministry together, God calls on us to seek to do God's will in everything we do. God knocks on our hearts and invites us to open them to the love of Christ. Finally God continues to encourage us to ask God, not only for what we need, but on behalf of others and their needs as well. Seek, knock, and ask! Isn't it amazing how God blesses us as we continue to do those three things? Peace and Power in Christ, Pastor John
