Chapel Chatter
Mr. Neumiller, Admissions Director and teacher at Mount Rainier Lutheran High, wore his tool belt to chapel yesterday! He also brought some cool power tools, and he showed us how they worked. But when he removed the battery, they didn’t work anymore! He told us we are like the power tools – we can only do God’s work when we stay connected to the power source: God Himself. Without God in our lives, we can’t do the good works He’s created us to do. Thank you, first grade, for singing “God Is The Master Builder!” October	Baptism	Birthdays Kindergarten Matthew K First	Grade Cole C Second	Grade Matthew S Third	Grade Kamryn H Ashleigh M Hannah O Isaac S Fourth	Grade Elizabeth B Carol Z Fifth	Grade Emma C Adeline H Gunnar J Taylor S Sixth	Grade Ethan D Troy E Seventh	Grade Kendra C Eli L Sydnie S Adults Mr. Hagen Mrs. Morton Eight	Grade Cailtyn C Carissa H Jamie S Marc V

Zion Lutheran Church is starting a monthly group for women to gather for scrapbooking, stamping, cardmaking, and needlework, as well as sharing faith, life, and prayers in the context of God’s Word and creativity (even if you feel non-creative!). This is an opportunity to share faith experiences, pool resources, and meet new friends, and maybe get some projects completed. Whether you’re seasoned at whatever you do, or you’re an absolute beginner, you are welcome and encouraged to be a part of this new group. For information, please call Linda Dybwad at Zion (253) 752-1264 (leave a msg if she’s not there), or Kelly Johnson (Concordia parent) at (253) 267-5408. We’re very excited and hope to see you there!
