The boiler is a combination of water tube and fire tube design, natural
circulation, balanced draft unit, suitable for indoor installation and is
provided with atmospheric fluidized bed furnace to burn the coal.

The boiler assembly, consisting of fluid bed combustor, in-bed tube
bundle, water cooled furnace, and the fire tube boiler is supported on
concrete platform while the other equipment like dust collector, air
heater, etc. is supported on steel structures.

    • Fluidized bed combustion is the latest coal firing technology, gives
      very high combustion efficiency (95-99%). The effective fuel-air
      contact means lesser excess air needs which gives high boiler
      efficiency. By adding an economizer to pre heat the feed water, the
      total system efficiency can be made higher than any other boiler
      make.

bottom ash removal


When coal burns in the fluid bed, some of the ash and the stones, etc.
accumulate in the fluid bed. These large particles have to be drained
from the bed to maintain stable fluidization.

A small amount of     bed material will be drained periodically from
bottom of the bed to remove the stones and small clinkers if any.
A manual bed material draining system including levers is provided at
the bottom of the air plenum.

    Low Operation Cost
    Cheaper coal fines used as fuel, size of coal required is 100 % below
    15 mm.

    Fuel Flexibility
    100 % capacity of the boiler can be obtained with nearly all types of
    coals. No capacity reduction for lower heating value.

    Low Maintenance Cost
    Very reliable as the only moving part is the fans which are outside the
    hot zone.

 Higher boiler total efficiency than boiler using chain grate
 The capacity of boiler is specified at the working pressure with feed
 water at 30 C. Not on F&A 100 C basis
 Large external furnace with large volume and hence higher
 combustion efficiency (95-99%)
 Large amount of refractory lining which gives higher furnace
 temperature for better combustion
 The combustor can be started immediately after up to 4 hours shut
 down without any pre heating as the sand bed retains heat
 Very quick turndown is possible and thus very quick load response
 Materials like sludge and waste can be incinerated along with the coal

            any application. Our standard capacity are ranging from 1 ton/hour up
            to 30 ton/hour with saturated steam delivered at 13 barg pressure,
            other capacity and pressure are available on request.
