Thomas Kinkade Artworks Give Fresh Life to Iconic American Classics The Painter of Light™ Unveils New Series of Collectibles Cinderella Castle, Graceland®, Yankee Stadium™, Biltmore Estate and Fenway Park™ are all Honored
MORGAN HILL, CA: –April 21, 2008 – A majestic castle stands sentinel as dawn rises over one of America‟s favorite theme parks. The gracious southern estate of an iconic American musician appears behind open gates, ready to greet the visitor. The glittering windows welcome guests at the nation‟s largest and most regal residence. A pair of world-renowned sports venues are depicted in their vibrant prime. Thomas Kinkade, America‟s Most Beloved Artist™, brings alive with brushstrokes the moments that define the very heart and soul of our nation. Thomas Kinkade has taken as his subject matter some of the American icons that are dearest to his own heart: Cinderella Castle at WALT DISNEY WORLD RESORT™ in Orlando, FL; Graceland, the 13.8-acre Memphis, TN estate that once was home to rock icon Elvis Presley; Yankee Stadium, a classic New York baseball cathedral and the fabled “House that Ruth Built”™; the gracious American castle, Biltmore Estate, built by the Vanderbilt‟s in Ashville, NC; and Fenway Park, home of the 2007 World Series Champions™, the Boston Red Sox®, and the oldest of all current Major League Baseball™ parks.

In A New Day at the Cinderella Castle, Thomas Kinkade takes a unique and decidedly whimsical approach, capturing a perfect morning in exquisite detail from the arc of a double rainbow over the towering castle, to the fluffy clouds dappling the castle‟s many towers, to the lavish, rainbow-hued trees and shrubs framing the building and quaint gas lamps dancing along the walkway. In Graceland – 50th Anniversary, the Painter of Light™ offers a study of Elvis Presley‟s beloved home. Could that be the singer walking out the front door and toward a green Cadillac® convertible parked in the driveway? A telescoping perspective serves to shrink the home‟s expansive lawn in order to fully focus on the estate itself. Yankee Stadium is a tribute to the passionate history of America‟s favorite pastime – baseball. After learning that it will close its doors forever in 2008 when the new Yankee Stadium opens across the street, Thomas Kinkade chose to honor Yankee Stadium on canvas. Here is the original Yankee Stadium with its cavernous center field and its statues honoring the immortal Bronx Bombers™. With a colorful crowd packing the stands, the acclaimed Yankees of yore proudly take the field. In Elegant Evening at Biltmore, Thomas Kinkade set up his easel before the Queen of American homes, the famous Biltmore Estate in Ashville, North Carolina – the nation‟s largest and most majestic residence. This painting glitters in light, suggesting a festive evening affair in progress. Finally, Thomas Kinkade‟s unique rendition of historic Fenway Park was painted on location at the 95-year-old home of the 2007 World Series Champions Boston Red Sox. Rich in tradition and lore, Fenway is famous for its left-field wall – the Green Monster™ and the exploits of such legendary players as Cy Young, Babe Ruth, Ted Williams and Carl Yastrzemski. This painting combines Thomas Kinkade‟s love of sports with his passion for depicting the best and brightest that this life has to offer. “I have been honored to commemorate so many American icons that mean so much to people,” stated Thomas Kinkade. “From WALT DISNEY WORLD RESORT‟S Cinderella Castle, to the Biltmore House in Asheville, NC, to two of America‟s favorite baseball parks to the King of Rock „n‟ Roll‟s Graceland mansion that thousands visit each year, I tried to paint a memory that will last a lifetime,” Thomas Kinkade later added.
