The DAKCS Story DAKCS SOFTWARE SYSTEMS, Inc. has been a leader in the collections software industry for over twenty years. Headquartered in Ogden, Utah in the heart of the majestic Wasatch Mountains, DAKCS Software Systems was created by Kent Green in the early 1980s. A collections agency owner himself, Kent and several of his colleagues recognized the need to mechanize laborious paper driven agency operations while recognizing the power of computer technology. As a result of this collaboration, a new and exciting collections software product came to be….entitled The Sting. Over the years, DAKCS and it original flagship product, The Sting, have successfully developed and evolved with the ever changing demands of the collections industry. New Leadership Group Recently, Kent Green turned the leadership role over to a well respected member of the management team, Lex Patterson. Lex, with over 15 years on the DAKCS team where he played such important roles as Vice President of technical support, brings a fresh and exciting new energy to the organization. With his team in place and his great management skills fully operational, Lex has developed an innovative market strategy for 2007 and beyond.
