SIMS allows for complete tracking of products and assets purchased and consumed at the office. The system is built around two barcode reader stations. One station is used to scan products as they are delivered and the other used to scan products as they are used (taken out of inventory). The scanning units can be seamlessly integrated into your existing computer system/network/infrastructure with a simple and easy to use software program that will meet all of your inventory needs. SIMS automatically adds products to the inventory list maintained on the computer when scanned at delivery as well as subtracts items when they are scanned for use. The built in barcode printing utility allows you to make barcodes for items through your printer thereby allowing any item to be placed in inventory. To ensure that your office never runs out of product when its needed most, SIMS will automatically notify the user when the re-order quantity for a particular product has been reached. The SIMS software package will also maintain a database of your product inventory allowing you to keep important information on hand, such as product number, company name, contact information, etc. This will allow for fast reordering of products.
