Commemorative Journal Added to March Dinner Book T he March Dinner has historically been the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick of the Jersey Shore’s primary source of income. The income generated from the Dinner is used to fund our operating expenses and the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick Foundation. The Foundation is responsible for the College Grant program. Due to increasing costs and our desire to expand the Grant program, Committee Spotlight the Board of Trustees agreed in November 2007 to add a Commemorative Journal Awards Committee to the March Dinner book. The purpose of the Journal is twofold: to offer a vehicle for families, friends and guests Our Awards Committee is responsible for selecting the the ability to congratulate the Honorees and for businesses to advertise their goods Honorees for the March Dinner each year.
