Responsibilities: This position is for low power analog and custom circuit design targeted toward mobile optimized implementations of high speed IO and custom embedded blocks for next generation chipsets. Examples of circuits required on mobile chipsets include SATA, USB2, PCI-Express, DDR2/3, P4-FSB, Analog DACs, Band Gaps, PLLs, SRAMs, Register Files, Thermal Sensors, etc. Responsibilities will include schematic capture, circuit simulation, circuit layout, LIB/LEF generation, low power optimization, and low power validation. Qualifications: Master or Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. The successful candidate will possess some or all of the following qualifications: Low power design experience. Analog CMOS design experience. High speed IO design experience including an understanding of the silicon design, signal integrity concepts, and power delivery fundamentals. Good understanding of circuit simulation tools and methodologies. Knowledge of physical layout, micro-architecture, and logic design. Good understanding of overall chip design flows.
