					Why We Do Not Vaccinate
The administration of vaccines to young children alters the development
of the immune system. An immune system developing normally has a high
percentage of "general" antibodies, which are the body's first line of defense
against disease. The administration of vaccines upsets this balance, providing
the body with a much greater number of antibodies specific to those diseases
the vaccines are intended to prevent, but leaving the body more vulnerable to
illness in general.

("Position Paper on the Role of Vaccines in SIDS," by Hilary Butler)

We believe that God knew what He was doing when He designed our bodies,
and that knowingly, intentionally circumventing His design is foolishness,
denies His deity, and fails to uphold the inerrancy of Scripture. (Psalm 139:14;
Proverbs 3:5-8; Isaiah 55:8-9)

The vaccines cannot necessarily be trusted to be "clean." There are
documented instances of vaccines being used to administer (permanent) birth
control, under the pretense of administering a "standard" vaccine. While we do
not claim that American children are being administered birth control in their
vaccines, this is proof that we cannot necessarily trust the vaccines to be only
what the manufacturers - and government officials - claim.

("Are New Vaccines Laced with Birth Control Drugs?" by James A. Miller, HLI Reports, Human
Life International June/July 1995, Vol. 13 No. 8

Even if there is no intent to add to the vaccines, there are risks of
contamination. The SV-40 virus was accidentally introduced into the human
population when it was unknowingly pulled from green monkeys along with the
vaccine being produced.

God has given the stewardship of our children to us, and we are required to
protect them from this type of threat.

If a vaccine campaign works, overall, it is detrimental to our society as a
whole because it puts our weakest members at risk. Those diseases which
are prevented by childhood vaccines are, historically, childhood diseases. This,
of course, does not mean that only children ever contract them, but it does
mean that it has historically been the case that it is primarily children who
contract them. In most cases, most of these diseases are relatively harmless to
children in this age range. However, if vaccines work the way their supporters
claim, they reduce the likelihood of contracting these diseases during this
period. The length of efficacy of the vaccines is unknown, but it is strongly
suspected that they do not provide lifelong immunity. This means that there is
a greater likelihood of a woman's contracting rubella later in life, when it can
cause harm to her unborn child, or a man's contracting mumps later in life,
when it has a significantly higher probability of causing sterility. In addition,
vaccine-created antibodies are not passed on to nursing infants in the same
manner as naturally-acquired antibodies. This means that our tiniest babies
are now at risk, whereas, in earlier years, most mothers would have dealt with
these diseases during childhood and acquired antibodies which they would
then have passed on, through breastmilk, to their infants during that time in
which their risk of death from these diseases is highest.

To add to all of that, the pertussis vaccine, when effective, generally prevents
the disease from being as severe as it otherwise would be, rather than
preventing the disease itself. This can easily lead to an infected person's going
out, thinking he has a nasty cold, and exposing others, including those tiny
infants, where a full-blown case of pertussis would certainly keep the infected
person at home in bed!

We are obligated to love others, to do good whenever possible, and to protect the
weak. (Matthew 7:12; Matthew 5:43-44; James 4:17; Proverbs 3:27; Acts
20:35; 1 Thessalonians 5:14)

Some vaccine ingredients are harmful. A few examples:

Thimerosal is used as a preservative in many vaccines. Thimerosal contains
mercury, which is a heavy metal. Heavy metals are highly toxic, and can cause
mental retardation. Thimerosal is considered hazardous waste.

Aluminum in various forms is used as an adjuvant in a number of vaccines.
Excess aluminum in the body has been linked with Alzheimer's, and aluminum
toxicity is known to cause other health problems.

Formaldehyde is used as a preservative in a number of vaccines. Formaldehyde
is a carcinogen.

We are called to exercise wisdom. (Proverbs 27:11; Matthew 10:16; Ephesians
The (definite) risks of the vaccines, in most cases, in our opinion,
outweigh the (possible/potential) risks of the diseases they are intended to
prevent. Any risks imposed by a vaccine - contaminants, toxic ingredients, or
reactions to the vaccine's main components - are definite risks when the
vaccine is administered. The risk of long-term consequences of the disease is
not; the risk is that perhaps the child will be exposed to the disease at some
point during his life and, if he is exposed, perhaps he will contract the disease
and, if he contracts the disease, perhaps he will develop a serious complication
and be damaged or die.

Again, we are called to exercise wisdom. (Proverbs 27:11; Matthew 10:16;
Ephesians 5:15)

The majority of vaccines are cultured in the tissues of Biblically unclean
animals (a significant health hazard, in our opinion) or in the tissues of
murdered unborn humans (a moral affront).
