$2000 retainer to begin work- siting house, design changes etc.

Hive provides discounted pricing on lighting, plumbing fixtures, accessories or anything we offer that
is purchased through HIVE.

All additional services billed at $120/hour.

Services that are included in the price of the HIVE modules:
Siting of the project, including;

    •   Determining location and orientation of the home.
    •   Adjusting window location for view or orientation (ie. Moving existing window unit w/o
        substitution.
    •   Location of entry door.
    •   Flipping plan if required.

Creating a basement or crawl-space footing and foundation plan, including:

    •   Location of one egress window.
    •   Creating one version of the mechanical layout.
    •   One bathroom rough-in layout.
    •   Locate three porcelain light fixtures.

Optional Services:
Optional services refer to those outside of the scope of existing HIVE designs and standard features.
Prices shown include drawing revisions, administration and coordination with owner, general
contractor or factory. Prices are subject to change.

GENERAL COST/ PRICING GUIDELINES:
For planning purposes HIVE homes are priced by the square foot. Baseline pricing starts at $130/S.F.
minus lot costs and appliances. Prices shown are as inclusive as possible of all costs, including
sitework, to help the homeowner know their bottom line costs. These costs will vary by site and from
owner selections and should be used only as a guideline until more detailed pricing of your individual
project can be completed.

What is included?

The Hive B-Line Medium prototype shown in the photographs on this site is $140/S.F. minus lot costs
and appliances. Square foot costs are impacted greatly by finish and fixture selections. With base level
fixtures and finishes, this house starts at $130/S.F. As shown the prototype house includes:

Exterior and structure:
    • Certainteed fibercement siding.
    • Una-Clad steel siding.
    • Norco windows and doors.
    • Nemo exterior lighting.
    • EPDM membrane roofing, vented.
    • 8” cast in place concrete foundation walls with 2x4 furring, insulation and vapor barrier.
    • Basement includes 3 egress windows and full rough-in for a fourth bathroom.
    • 2x6 exterior wall construction, R19 insulation.
    • Truss joist floor and roof structure, R40 insulation.
    • Full Tyvek Housewrap system.

Interior:
    • Kahrs wood flooring.
    • Lightolier recessed lighting, dimmers and 3- way switching throughout.
