A PACKED LUNCH FOR FRIDAY!
All meals – with the exception of Friday’s lunch – are covered in the trip package.
However, the students may want money to supplement this, as well as for games and
souvenirs. I recommend at least $50-75 for the weekend. Each student must
remember that it is his/her responsibility to keep up with spending money. The more
money the students have, the more likely it is to disappear!

A Final Note
The students should be mindful that we are representatives of our school, our school
district, and our state. They are expected to be on their absolute best behavior at all
times. This includes keeping the noise level to a minimum in hotel rooms, following
directions, cooperating with chaperones, and abiding by all school and county rules.
Since this is the HMS Band’s first out-of-state, overnight trip, it is crucial that we
fulfill this expectation so that future band students may enjoy this opportunity.
Students who do not adhere to rules will remain with a chaperone both on the bus and
during planned activities, and will also be subject to administrative consequences
upon our return to school. Severe infractions will result in immediate dismissal from
I am looking forward to a wonderful trip!
