Dear Seaborne Parents and Guardians:

Thank you for your support in recovering from the hardships that this class and the residents of the southeastern
coastal region of our great state have been required to endure. This letter is being provided to update you on the
upcoming events that will lead us to the graduation of Class 2008-1.

    Thanksgiving Liberty.

Buses to transport the class to the Houston area will depart Sheffield at 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday, 26 November. An
intermediate stop is planned for exit 538 on Interstate 10 on the east side of San Antonio at approximately 11:00
a.m. Parents that are closer to San Antonio are welcome to pick their cadets up during this intermediate stop. Upon
completing this stop the buses will continue to Houston and arrive at Almeda Mall (12200 Gulf Freeway) at
approximately 3:00 p.m. The cadets will be required to return to Almeda Mall no later than 10:00 a.m. on Sunday,
30 November for the return trip. The buses will stop to pick the San Antonio cadets at exit 538 at approximately
2:00 p.m. and arrive in Sheffield at approximately 6:00 p.m.

Parents that desire to arrange commercial transportation will need to make flight reservations from the
Midland/Odessa airport as early in the morning of 26 November as possible and forward the reservation
confirmation numbers to Ann Adams 432-693-7109 or adamsa@tamug.edu. Bus transportation is available from
Fort Stockton and departs at 9:30 a.m. on 26 November. Please prepay the ticket and forward the confirmation
    number to Ann Adams.

Those who fail to meet the provided transportation at the above times will be expected to return to Sheffield on their
own no later than 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, 30 November, or be dismissed from the program. All Cadets will be drug
tested at 5:30 a.m. on Monday, 1 December. All positive drug tests will be dismissed.

    Class Prom.

The class prom is scheduled for 13 December from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Iraan Civic Center. Students will
not be allowed to have dates. There is nowhere to house them overnight. We would prefer the male cadets to where
suits and ties. At a minimum the male cadets will be required to wear slacks, a long sleeve white shirt with a tie.
The female cadets may wear a knee length dress or a pants suit. Female Iraan High School students have been
    invited to attend.

    Class Graduation.

Class 2008-1 will graduate at the Abundant Life Church in LaMarque (where you brought your cadet on the first day
of the class) at 6:00 p.m. on 20 December. We look forward to seeing you there.

Please contact Ann Adams if additional information is required. I have been deeply humbled by the resilency of your
sons and daughters.
